Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies seeks a Staff Embedded Software Engineer to advance the software stack for PCBAs/ECUs in Infotainment and Vehicle Access segments. You will collaborate with top engineers to build embedded software for EV hardware, focusing on verification, driver development, and cross-domain integration.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in embedded software, strong C/C++, and hands-on work with automotive SoCs and Linux-based stacks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Hands-on with high-performance SoCs (Snapdragon, NVIDIA Orin, MediaTek) or automotive-grade SoCs.
• Proficient in Embedded Linux, QNX, DriveOS; experience with hypervisor-based systems.

Responsabilités

• Board bring-up, verification, and debugging of automotive electronics.
• Linux kernel driver development and device tree configuration.
• Collaborate with hardware, validation, and software teams for ECU integration.
• Develop and execute comprehensive validation strategies, including stress testing and benchmarking.
• Troubleshoot complex software/hardware issues across teams; document designs and tests.
