Ambiq Micro, Inc. is seeking a Staff Embedded Graphics Software Engineer in Austin to drive graphics software on Ambiq SoCs and emulation platforms. You will collaborate across Architecture, MCU design, DV, and System Test to bring graphics from FPGA emulation to production silicon.

The role requires hands-on debugging in a lab, strong C/assembly skills, and ability to optimize rendering, memory, and power usage for embedded GPUs and LVGL-based UIs.

Qualifications

• MS or BS with required years of embedded graphics experience.
• Strong understanding of graphics pipeline and HAL/SDK stacks.
• Experience with OpenGL ES and embedded GPUs.

Responsabilités

• Define and evolve HAL and graphics software (API/middleware/UI).
• Develop, integrate, and optimize graphics middleware and LVGL UI.
• Lead GPU HAL design and Display HAL integration.
• Support pre-silicon verification on FPGA and post-silicon bring-up.
