Job summary

Survival Systems Staffing seeks a Firmware Engineer with 3+ years to design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for digitally controlled power supplies and power management systems. The role partners with hardware, systems, and test teams to deliver robust, compliant code.

You will implement firmware for power control and communication, develop control algorithms, interface I2C/SPI/UART/CAN, debug with lab equipment, and perform unit and system tests to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Control Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of embedded firmware development in power electronics or embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for real-time embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded firmware for power supply control, monitoring, and communication.
• Develop control algorithms (voltage regulation, current limiting, etc.) for power conversion.
• Interface with I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, PMBus, Ethernet.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define MCU/processor specs and integrate firmware.
