Job summary

hireneXus in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Digital Power Electronics Firmware Engineer to develop embedded firmware for advanced power conversion systems in our autonomous defense platforms.

You will work at the intersection of firmware and power electronics, designing digital control for DC-DC converters, validating with SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink, and collaborating with hardware engineers to optimize performance.

Qualifications

3+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
Experience with digital control of DC-DC converters or power management systems.
Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems; familiarity with STM32, TI C2000 or similar.
Knowledge of PID loops, anti-windup, PWM and phase-shift control.
Familiarity with SPICE, MATLAB and Simulink for modeling and validation.

Responsibilities

Design and implement embedded firmware in C/C++ for digital control of power electronics.
Use SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink to model, validate, and optimize control systems before hardware implementation.
Collaborate with electrical engineers to bring up and validate hardware; perform lab debugging and validation.
