Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Electronics Engineer - Hardware/Infrastructure Lead for its Avionics Integration Organization in Rancho Bernardo, CA. You will guide a cross-functional team across cloud, datacenter, and infrastructure disciplines, driving design, delivery, and verification of hardware and IaaS solutions for IFC milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12+ years of related engineering experience or equivalent advanced degree with 8+ years.
• Experience leading a team and coordinating across cross-functional groups.
• Familiarity with DoD security requirements and SAP/Top Secret/SCI clearance eligibility.
• Experience with enterprise datacenter technologies and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to a cross-functional team of cloud, datacenter, and infrastructure engineers.
• Manage Jira, lead scrums, define sprint plans, and track progress.
• Maintain knowledge breadth across datacenter IT stack including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Develop staffing and content delivery plans per the IFC roadmap and program milestones.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and IaaS design and delivery plans.
• Define acceptance criteria with Product Owner and System Engineers and ensure verification.
• Participate in design reviews; author runbooks and test plans.
• Decompose complex issues into concise executive briefs for leadership.
