CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to join our Digital/Mixed-Signal Electronics team. You will own end-to-end hardware development for space-grade modules, from concept through layout and verification, with leadership opportunities for small teams.

The role emphasizes high-speed digital and RF-friendly design, SI/PI analysis, Altium layouts, and collaboration with software and mechanical disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or higher.
• 8+ years of board-level electronics design, analysis, and test.
• Aerospace design experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of complex electronics modules from concept to production.
• Lead small hardware teams to develop multi-module assemblies.
• Develop hardware architecture and write system requirements.
• Perform schematic design and PCB layout in Altium Designer.
• Conduct board-level SI/PI analysis and guide result interpretation.
• Create bring-up and verification plans for new hardware.
• Release modules to production with M&T involvement.
• Mentor engineers to build technical knowledge.
