L.V. Enterprises is seeking an experienced Staff Electrical Engineer to own the hardware development of sophisticated electronic systems used in radar and mission-critical applications.

You will lead design from architecture through prototyping, testing, and integration, while mentoring junior engineers and guiding technical direction. The role emphasizes hands-on work with high-speed digital and mixed-signal circuits, FPGA-based architectures, embedded processors, and rugged environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8–12+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Strong experience designing high-speed digital circuits and PCBs.
• Experience with FPGA architectures, VHDL/HDL, and embedded processors.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces, signal integrity, and mixed-signal electronics.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer or comparable PCB design platforms.
• Hands-on lab skills including hardware debugging, testing, and validation.
• Ability to independently drive technical solutions while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Own electronic hardware development from architecture to prototyping, testing, and integration.
• Design high-performance digital and mixed-signal circuits with FPGAs and embedded processors.
• Work with PCIe, DDR4/5, Ethernet, USB, SPI, and I2C interfaces.
• Develop schematics and PCB designs using Altium or similar tools.
• Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and verification.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, mechanical, and systems teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and review designs for less-experienced engineers.
• Contribute to reliable electronic systems for demanding environments.
