Job summary
Form Energy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee PCBA design from requirements generation through bring-up and verification. You will collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to deliver PCBA solutions that meet stringent safety and compliance standards for our cutting-edge battery technology.
Relocation assistance is available. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience (or a Master's with 3+ years), strong Altium
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's with 3+ years.
- Proficiency in PCBA design tools such as Altium or equivalent.
- Experience with high-power electronics, safety/compliance considerations, and UL standards.
Responsibilities
- Own full lifecycle of PCBA design from requirements to bring-up.
- Ensure designs meet safety, reliability, and compliance standards.
- Create schematics, layouts, DFMEA/CFMEA, and test plans.
- Collaborate with System Engineering, Mechanical, Firmware/Software, and Test teams.
- Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of released PCBA designs.
- Document concepts, architecture, and test results.
