EAD is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to support industrial and commercial projects, including power distribution, lighting and controls design, and power analysis. The role offers a fast-paced environment with diverse project sizes and client interaction.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, have 6 years of relevant design experience, and a PE license. Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office, plus strong communication and organizational skills, are expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Professional Engineer certification (PE).
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and IEEE standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients and staff.
• Proficient with Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify drawings, specifications, calculations and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Electrical design focusing on power, lighting and grounding per client requirements.
• Provide power quality, short-circuit, coordination and arc-flash analyses.
• Develop capital expenditure cost estimates for design/build projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams across multiple disciplines.
