Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• FE or commitment to obtain FE within first 12 months required.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Proficient with Excel spreadsheets.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-starter and able to maintain organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify drawings, specifications, calculations and graphs per codes and standards.
• Electrical design focusing on power, lighting and grounding per client requirements.
• Provide studies of power quality, short circuit, coordination and arc flash analysis.
• Develop capital expenditure cost estimates for design/build projects.
• Coordinate with internal team members across multiple disciplines.
• Produce detailed construction documentation: schematics, power and lighting plans.
• Interface with clients, utilities, project team and vendors.
• Participate in discipline-specific and company-wide business development.
• Adhere to safety standards and perform design reviews.
