Job summary

Ford is seeking an EE Staff Hardware Engineer for Advanced EV’s Design Concept Engineering in California. You will architect, implement and design boards for our upcoming product platform, including on-vehicle and off-vehicle components, with a focus on electrical architecture and reliable prototyping.

Lead design decisions, bring up hardware, collaborate with JDMs/OEMs, and drive fast-paced development for a software-defined EV platform with flight-path to 2027 launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Demonstrated leadership and team guidance experience.
• Strong system integration and design heritage.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design of key boards and guidance to JDM/OEMs on executing designs.
• Bring up designs, validate reliability and implement changes.
• Rapid prototyping to realize design concepts quickly.
• System integration with other engineering teams.
• Influence electrical architecture decisions and execution.
