Ford in the United States is seeking an EE Senior Hardware Engineer to design and bring up high‑reliability boards for advanced EV platforms. You will architect and test electrical systems for on‑vehicle and off‑vehicle components, collaborating with suppliers and OEMs.

The role emphasizes PCB layout, schematics, and fast prototyping with DC/DC converters and data buses, in a hybrid work setting with onsite requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with Altium eCAD tools and PCB design.
• Experience with contract manufacturers and OEMs.
• Knowledge of DC/DC converters and data buses (I2C, SPI).
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++ coding.
• Experience with microprocessors and digital logic.

Responsabilidades

• Electrical Design – schematic and layout of key boards and guidance to JDM/OEMs.
• Bring up designs and validate reliability; implement changes.
• Rapid prototyping using off-the-shelf parts and tradeoff analysis.
• System Integration – work with teams to integrate designs into vehicles.
• Influence electrical architecture decisions and execution.
