Redwood Materials in Sparks, NV seeks a Staff Electrical Design Engineer for EPC projects. You will own electrical design from concept through construction across facilities, serving as Electrical Engineer of Record on complex, multi-discipline projects while coordinating with teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree (B.S. or M.S.).
Licensed Professional Engineer; Nevada licensure or reciprocity with plan to obtain in 2 months.
Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy commercial/industrial sectors.
Strong NEC, IECC, and NFPA knowledge with multi-disciplined project leadership.
Proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, SKM/ETAP, and lighting software.

Responsibilities

Design and own electrical systems from concept through construction.
Serve as Electrical Engineer of Record and produce permit/construction drawings.
Perform short-circuit, arc-flash, and protective device studies.
Lead multi-discipline coordination and IFC package delivery.
Provide construction administration and field issue resolution.
