Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff DFx Manufacturing Engineer to drive design-for-manufacturability across avionics and electronics. You will embed with design teams, lead DFx reviews, and translate constraints into actionable guidance for producibility.

You will mentor engineers, develop DFx standards, and work across supply chain, quality, and operations to ensure scalable fabrication and testability from concept to rate production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in manufacturing/process/producibility with electronics/avionics.
• Master’s degree can replace 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Own DFx process for avionics, electronics, and harnessing across programs.
• Lead DFM/DFA/DFT reviews at design milestones.
• Provide real-time manufacturing feedback on PCB layout and harness architecture.
• Collaborate with supply chain, quality, and operations daily.
• Develop and maintain DFx standards, guidelines, scorecards.
• Analyze designs using manufacturability, quality, and process capability.
• Champion testability with test points, boundary scan, fixtures.
• Ensure DFx findings feed into inspection plans and process control.
• Assist in supplier capability assessment and make-vs-buy decisions.
• Close loop between production feedback and design improvements.
