Job summary

People in AI is hiring a Staff DevOps Engineer to join an AI Enablement team in a global software environment. You will own infrastructure behind internal AI platforms, tooling, and developer workflows used across the engineering org.

You’ll build cloud infrastructure in AWS, craft Terraform IaC, drive Kubernetes adoption, and construct GitHub Actions/CI/CD workflows to productionize AI tools and platforms at scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering experience.
• AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes expertise.
• Strong GitHub Actions and CI/CD experience.
• Python and/or Bash scripting skills.
• Experience with observability tooling.
• Experience in small, highly accountable engineering teams.
• Interest in AI-assisted engineering and developer tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
• Help drive adoption of Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows.
• Productionize and scale internal AI tools and platforms.
• Improve monitoring, observability, deployment and automation practices.
• Create DevOps standards across engineering teams.
• Automate workflows using Python and Bash.
