Job summary

The University of Toledo is seeking a Staff Development Specialist to assess learning needs, design, implement, and evaluate educational activities that enhance the knowledge, skills and competencies of nurses and other patient care team members. Develops, implements and monitors the orientation program for all new nursing personnel.

This salaried, full-time position on the Health Science Campus requires Ohio RN licensure, a BSN (MSN preferred), at least three years of clinical nursing

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current licensure in the State of Ohio.
  • BSN required, MSN preferred.
  • Minimum of three years experience in the clinical practice of nursing, experience in coordinating projects, and experience in group presentations required.
  • Previous experience in staff development required. Knowledge of principles of adult learning required.

Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Registered Nurse with current licensure in the State of Ohio.
