Job summary

Complete Care, Inc. is hiring a Staff Development RN to lead the facility's education programs and Infection Prevention/Control activities for residents and staff.

The role focuses on coordinating orientation, ongoing education, annual competencies, and in-service training, while mentoring nursing staff and ensuring compliance with CMS, CDC, OSHA, and company guidelines in a dynamic long-term care environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Long-term care experience required.
• Previous Staff Development experience/training preferred.
• Infection Preventionist training or certification is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and teaching skills.
• Knowledge of CMS regulations, CDC guidelines, and infection prevention standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating new hire orientation, ongoing education, annual competencies, and mandatory in-service training.
• Mentoring and supporting nursing staff through education, coaching, and clinical guidance.
• Tracking education requirements, certifications, and competency completion.
• Leading the facility's Infection Prevention and Control Program in accordance with CDC, CMS, OSHA, state, and company guidelines.
• Conducting infection surveillance, investigate outbreaks, monitor trends, and implement prevention strategies.
• Educating staff on infection prevention practices, PPE, hand hygiene, and isolation precautions.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintaining accurate infection control records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
• Participating in survey preparation and serve as a resource for infection prevention and staff education.
