As the RN Staff Development Educator, you will liaison with community education resources, mentor staff, and coordinate orientation and ongoing training in collaboration with the DON/ADON to uphold the highest nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in DE.
• Experience as RN Staff Development Educator or similar role.

Responsibilities

• The RN Staff Development Nurse functions as a liaison between the facility and community education resources.
• Provides education related to QA data conversion and evaluation to staff and QA needs.
• Analyzes nursing care during probation to ensure high standards of nursing practice.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• The Registered Staff Development Nurse functions as a Liaison between the facility and community education resources.


• The Registered Staff Development Nurse works in conjunction with the DON/ADON to provide education related to quality assurance data conversion and evaluation for the QA program to educate and inform staff of facility QA needs and program to improve resident care.


• The RN Staff Development Nurse analyzes and evaluates nursing care of employees during probationary period to assure the standards of nursing practice are of the highest quality.


• The Registered Staff Development Nurse supervises, trains and has orientation for all staff.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license active to practice in DE


• Experience as a RN Staff Development/Educator or a similar role
