Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have current, unencumbered RN or LPN/LVN license for the state of employment.
• Infection control experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in staff education and development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational opportunities to staff in a supportive environment.
• Develop and coordinate learning experiences aligned with quality care standards.
• Monitor mandatory education and track attendance.
• Coordinate Nursing Assistant Certification Program per state requirements.
• Support orientation of licensed and non-licensed staff with preceptors and mentors.
• Oversee Infection Prevention and Control program with the care team.
• Monitor nursing staff activities to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain staff health files and ensure regulation compliance.
• Obtain consent and administer vaccines to staff and residents as needed.
• Ensure licensure and CPR certification for staff where required.
