Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a qualified professional to plan, organize, develop and direct in-service educational programs across the facility in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. The role ensures high-quality resident care through effective training and program oversight.

The candidate must hold a California LVN/LPN or RN license, be DSD Certified, and demonstrate leadership and teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Clear & Active LVN/LPN or RN license in the State of California.
• Must be DSD Certified.
• Experience in supervision and teaching practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, direct, evaluate, and coordinate in-service educational programs.
• Incorporate instructional materials into programs as needed.
• Provide leadership in setting goals and objectives for in-service programs.
• Develop and control the quality of in-service education per policies.
• Maintain records, manuals, and reference materials related to programs.
• Handle administrative tasks like forms, attendance, and records.
• Report to administrator with recommendations on training programs.
