Job summary

Deepgram seeks a Staff Developer Experience Engineer to own the DX surface behind our real-time speech-to-text APIs. You will lead multi-language SDKs, code-generation pipelines, and tooling, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Partnerships to raise the bar for developer experience.

You’ll shape the standards for DX across languages, improve onboarding, and reduce friction in getting developers from sign-up to first API call.

Qualifications

• Track record of owning developer-facing tooling across multiple languages.
• Experience building and shipping SDKs and related generator/templates.
• Ability to design and own language-agnostic developer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the DX direction and set the roadmap for developer experience.
• Own the SDK code-generation architecture and ensure cross-language parity.
• Set standards for platform DX, observability, versioning, and release discipline.
• Improve the developer journey through documentation, tooling, and code examples.
