Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Core Experiences Team to design and maintain foundational services and SDKs powering Speechify’s product across platforms. This role blends product focus with infrastructure expertise to deliver clear, reliable APIs and simple, scalable systems that enhance user experience.

Ideal candidates are strong collaborators with systems thinking, speed, and focus, plus experience in Kotlin Multiplatform and GCP.

Qualifications

• Experience building cross-platform SDKs and cloud services.
• Strong understanding of API design and scalable systems.
• Experience with Kotlin and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and deliver cross-platform SDK features.
• Design efficient abstractions to improve loading times and parsing performance.
• Ship cloud functions, backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
