Commure is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own the data warehouse platform end-to-end. You will design, build, and operate the stack—from CDC pipelines to analytics tooling—and collaborate across teams to ship high-impact data products.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, focused on data platforms at scale.
• Experience with the modern data stack: CDC, streaming, data lake formats, MPP/lakehouse engines, and dbt.
• Fluent in SQL, schema design, and cost/latency trade-offs on large datasets.
• Production data infrastructure experience including observability and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Own the data warehouse platform end-to-end—from CDC pipelines to analytics-facing tooling.
• Design and operate CDC pipelines using Debezium with low latency and high fidelity.
• Architect data lake on object storage with Iceberg/Delta/Hudi for batch and streaming.
• Run StarRocks as the query/serving layer, including schemas and materialized views.
• Build the dbt transformation layer and semantic layer for a single source of truth.
