Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to own pricing experimentation and strategy for its Consumer & Business products. You will design and analyze pricing tests, build models, and communicate findings to executives and cross-functional leaders.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Finance to develop the pricing vision, roadmap, and priorities. You will also maintain data pipelines and deliver production-grade analytics to drive the company's bottom line while upholding

Qualifications

• 8 years of data science with a focus on pricing experimentation, causal inference, and statistical modeling.
• 5 years leading pricing or experimentation workstreams, incl. A/B tests and predictive models.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for modeling, pipelines, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end pricing experimentation, from test design through analysis and recommendation.
• Build and refine pricing models and evaluation frameworks for pricing strategy across products.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Finance to develop pricing vision, roadmap, and priorities.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and data models powering pricing analytics.
• Synthesize complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
