Job summary

Intuit's TurboTax team is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to help shape growth strategy and measurement. You will partner with Marketing, Product, and Operations to translate signals into strategic direction and data-informed decisions.

You will build measurement roadmaps, lead experimentation, and create dashboards for executives to understand performance, risks, and opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, BI, or SaaS environments.
• Proven track record shaping strategy and influencing executive decisions with data.
• Experience supporting zero-to-one products, emerging business models, or growth initiatives.
• Expertise in experimentation, performance measurement, and causal or decision analysis.
• Defined success metrics and learning frameworks without established benchmarks.
• Strong business acumen across acquisition, engagement, retention, product strategy, and operations.
• Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, Looker, SQL, Python or R.
• Exceptional storytelling and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new acquisition, engagement, and growth opportunities.
• Develop measurement strategies for nascent products and models with leading indicators.
• Shape analytical roadmaps and experimentation plans, interpreting results for action.
• Build dashboards and visuals for executive leadership to understand performance.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Expert Services, and Operations as a trusted data partner.
• Create integrated views of the growth portfolio to guide resource decisions.
• Support business reviews and planning cycles with analytical insights.
