Qualifications

• 9+ years of software engineering experience with production systems.
• Experience operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Strong knowledge of C, C++, Java, Go, Python, or Rust.
• Advanced degrees or equivalent experience as alternative paths.
• Experience operating on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to model data at scale.
• Design and ship SDKs, libraries, and tooling.
• Define and maintain SLOs for the database platform.
• Write docs and promote system health.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
• Contribute to disaster recovery and regional failover planning.
