Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is hiring a Staff Software Engineer - Data to lead the Real-Time Analytics Platform and data platform engineering across PlayStation. You will design, build, and operate large-scale distributed data systems, ensuring low-latency analytics and reliable operations.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product, security, and infrastructure teams, and help shape the long-term platform strategy while embracing AI-powered enhancements and scalable architecture.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
Proficiency in Python; Scala helpful for platform components.
Experience with real-time data processing and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate large-scale distributed data systems powering real-time analytics.
Lead RTAP architecture and improve scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.
Own end-to-end platform capabilities from design to production operations.
Mentor engineers and influence cross-team technical decisions.
