Job summary

Gradial is building an AI-native system of work for enterprise marketing, empowering marketers with live campaigns and reliable data across images, PDFs, text, and more. We seek a Staff Software Engineer, Data to own the platform end-to-end, shape the data layer, and drive scalable pipelines while remaining deeply hands-on.

You’ll own production databases, data models, and cross-team data needs, and lead the evolution of multimodal indexing and search to improve retrieval quality and performance

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software or data engineering with ownership of data systems.
• Defined data architecture in fast-growth environments.
• Strong relational DB design, indexing, and query patterns.
• Experience with data warehouses and analytical models.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the data platform roadmap across product and company.
• Own production data models, schemas, and scalable access patterns.
• Lead multimodal indexing and search across images, PDFs, text.
• Build reliable data pipelines and the enterprise data warehouse.
• Develop self-serve analytics tools for teams.
