Job summary

Chamber is seeking a Staff-level Data Engineer who will design scalable data architecture powering our analytics for cardiologists, care teams, and patients. You will own ETL pipelines, data models, and secure cloud data stores in a fast-paced health-tech environment.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, collaboration with product and engineering, and delivering reliable data insights across our core products. Remote in the United States, must be authorized to work without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a data engineer or similar role, with health tech exposure.
• Strong expertise in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with modern data warehousing technologies (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow orchestration tools (Temporal, Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Solid understanding of data security and healthcare data compliance.
• Experience with AI software development tools and an AI-forward mindset.
• Ability to transform messy data into actionable insights and communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data models to support analytics and product needs.
• Develop robust data integration workflows for internal and external sources.
• Optimize and scale cloud-hosted databases and data infrastructure for healthcare datasets.
• Ensure data security and HIPAA/HITRUST compliance.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to define data requirements.
• Create documentation and monitoring solutions to ensure data reliability and transparency.
