Chamber Cardio is seeking a Staff-level Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data architecture powering cardiology analytics. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to deliver secure, compliant data systems in a fast-paced healthtech environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in data engineering, strong SQL/Python skills, and hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and Airflow.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a data engineer or similar role, with health tech background.
• Strong expertise in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with modern data warehousing technologies (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow orchestration tools (Temporal, Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure.
• Solid understanding of data security principles and healthcare data compliance requirements.
• Experience with AI software development tools and an AI-forward mindset.
• Ability to transform messy data into actionable insights.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data models for analytics and product needs.
• Develop robust data integration workflows between internal systems and external sources.
• Optimize and scale cloud-hosted databases and data infrastructure for healthcare datasets.
• Ensure data security and HIPAA/HITRUST compliance.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to define data requirements.
• Create documentation and monitoring to ensure data reliability and transparency.
