Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of health-tech data engineering, strong SQL/Python skills, and hands-on experience with Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift and orchestration tools. Remote US-based role with HIPAA awareness expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a data engineer, with health tech experience preferred.
• Strong SQL and Python programming skills.
• Hands-on with modern data warehousing technologies.
• Experience with data pipelines and orchestration tools.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Solid data security and healthcare data compliance understanding.
• Familiar with AI software development tools and an AI-forward mindset.
• Ability to transform messy data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data models.
• Develop robust data integration workflows between internal and external sources.
• Optimize cloud-hosted databases and infrastructure for healthcare datasets.
• Ensure data security and HIPAA/HITRUST compliance.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams on data requirements.
• Create documentation and monitoring to ensure data reliability.
