Job summary

Shift5 Inc. in Minnesota is searching for a Staff Data Engineer to join their Product Engineering team. In this role, you will design and maintain data processing, storage, and integration pipelines. You'll collaborate with engineers and product managers to develop high-impact products that enhance operational safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software/data engineering experience with solid software engineering practices.
• 6+ years of experience with a major programming language such as Go, Java, or Python.
• Familiarity for at least 6 years with relational databases and Big Data technologies.
• Proficiency with containerization and cloud services in a role for 4+ years.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust data processing pipelines.
• Write clean, scalable, and testable code for applications.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to create data models.
