Ladders, a leader in information technology, seeks a Staff Data Engineer to shape a modern data platform supporting analytics, AI/ML, and scalable data products. You will set architecture standards, improve data quality, and partner with cross-functional teams to align the platform with business goals.

The role is remote for US-based candidates only, with a compensation range of $142,600–$218,000 per year and benefits including 100% medical/dental/vision coverage and flexible PTO.

• 9-12 years of experience with production data platforms and architecture for complex systems.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake and dbt focused on optimization and deployment practices.
• Strong programming skills in Python and analytical SQL with experience in dimensional modeling.
• Experience building reliable batch and streaming data pipelines using orchestration tools.
• Experience establishing data products and governance across multiple teams, including SLAs and quality standards.
• Experience with AI data systems, particularly in feature engineering infrastructure.

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Data Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will help shape a modern data platform that supports reliable analytics, AI/ML use cases, and scalable data products across the organization. You will define architecture standards, improve data quality and observability, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to align the platform with business needs. The position is especially suited for someone who can balance deep technical execution with platform governance, security, and performance. You will also contribute to foundations that enable advanced AI capabilities, including feature engineering and vector search.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $142,600 – $218,000 annually
