We are seeking a data analytics professional to join our growing division within the Environmental Services department at Metro Water Recovery. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support environmental compliance, wastewater treatment operations, and regulatory reporting programs. This position provides the opportunity to have a real environmental impact within a complex technical environment, while supporting Metro’s mission to protect the region’s health and environment.
This position is situated within the Quality Assurance and Sampling Division of the Environmental Services Department. Responsible for conducting data analytics activities that contribute to the development, optimization, and implementation of data-driven solutions for wastewater treatment and operations as well as enterprise performance and business intelligence solutions that support organizational-wide programs and services. The Staff Data Analytics Engineer is expected to perform intermediate-level data engineering, reporting, and automation tasks while contributing to applied research and technology evaluation efforts. This position reports to a Principal Data Analytics Engineer or assigned Senior Manager.
Knowledge of:
Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university. A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
