PTC is seeking a Staff Counsel to support Sales and Procurement by drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements and managing standard terms. You will partner with Sales, Finance, and Security teams to drive deals, ensure policy consistency, and assist Dispute Resolution and Litigation teams.
The role involves on-site 2–3 days per week in Boston, with opportunities to handle a range of agreements and provide practical legal advice in a fast-paced environment.

Reports to: Senior Corporate Counsel
Location: Boston, MA – hybrid
The Staff Counsel position is primarily responsible for supporting our Sales and Procurement organizations by drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements and assisting in the management of the company’s standard terms and conditions documents. You will work closely with the Company’s Sales, Finance, Commercial Desk, License Compliance, Procurement, and Security teams to help drive deals with PTC’s customers and vendors and ensure consistent application of corporate policies and procedures. You will also have responsibility for supporting our Dispute Resolution and Litigation teams in this role and be tasked with working alongside more senior members of the legal team to actively drive disputes towards resolution.
PTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $104,000 – $145,000. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, candidates may be eligible for a performance‑based bonus, employee share purchase program (ESPP), equity programs, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) contributions and employer match, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage, and a generous commuter subsidy for office‑assigned employees. All total rewards and benefits programs are subject to applicable plan eligibility and other terms and conditions.
