Spring Brook Community of Onalaska is seeking a Staff Coordinator to manage staff schedules and help deliver high-quality resident care in Onalaska, WI. This full-time role supports HR processes and staffing strategies within a compassionate, team-driven environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of scheduling experience in an assisted living or long-term care setting, plus strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and scheduling/EHR systems.

Qualifications

  • One year of scheduling experience in an assisted living or long-term care community.
  • Must be 18 years or older and have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 programs and the scheduling software and EHR systems used by the community.
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain staff schedules to ensure consistent coverage and quality resident care.
  • Monitor staffing levels and address scheduling needs, call-offs, and open shifts.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding direct care staff.
  • Partner with community leadership to support staffing strategies and workforce planning.
  • Support Human Resources and payroll-related processes for clinical staff.
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations, community policies, and operational standards.
  • Serve as a resource for scheduling questions and collaborate with the management team.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call support as part of the management team.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Need:
  • Must be 18years or older
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • One year of scheduling experience at an assisted living or long-term care community, required
  • Current Qualified Medication Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification, preferred
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft 365 programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. and be able to quickly learn our scheduling software program, electronic healthcare record system, and other software platforms used by the community
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English. Must be able to follow oral and written directions and work independently in the absence of supervision
