The University of North Florida is seeking a Staff Concrete Research Engineer to analyze large datasets related to concrete materials and rigid pavement performance. The position will review and analyze large datasets related to concrete materials and rigid pavement performance. This role coordinates with operations staff to continuously improve pavement data collection, processing, and analysis through use of emerging technologies that enhance the quality, reliability, and long-term value of pavement materials and performance evaluation data. This position is located on-site in the Pavement Research Unit of the FDOT State Materials Office in Gainesville, FL.
The Staff Concrete Research Engineer is expected to have 2+ years experience in concrete pavement research and design with an advanced university degree preferred. The position requires clear communication and strong presentation (written and oral) skills.
This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check. The holder of this position is designated as a Responsible Employee pursuant to Title IX.
