Job summary

OpenTable is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to design and maintain automated configurations across data centers, cloud and office networks. You will develop and manage Ansible playbooks, APIs for automation, and implement security across next-gen platforms.

The role requires strong problems solving and collaboration with multiple engineering teams. Preferred candidates have AWS/cloud networking expertise, BGP/OSPF, and experience with monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to solve complex problems with simple and elegant solutions.
• Handle several projects at a time.
• Learn and gain new technical skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and experience working with other engineering teams.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS and Cloud Networking in hybrid network environments.
• Familiarity with dynamic routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
• Experience with network monitoring and packet capture tools.
• Able to participate in a 24/7 oncall rotation.
