Job description

Role - Cloud Network Engineer

Enterprise/Cloud Networking: Strong grounding in cloud networking (AWS preferred) and best practices for integrating with fixed and wireless networks.

Network Automation Core: Expert knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, APIs, scripting, automated testing, network configuration templating, network security compliance, network controllers, and related automation disciplines.

DevOps GitHub (Automation Essentials): Production-grade experience building and opera:ng Gitbased workflows as the system of record for network changes, using GitHub (or equivalent) for:

Branching strategies (trunk-based or GitFlow), protected branches, required reviews

CI/CD pipelines for network/IaC changes (GitHub Actions) with reusable workflows and environments

Secrets and identify management in pipelines (OIDC to AWS, short-lived creden:als, secret scanning)

Policy-as-code gates (OPA/Con[est), security/static analysis (lint, checkov), automated compliance checks

Automated change promotion (dev/test/prod), change tickets, and CMDB updates via API Zero Trust Segmentation: Network Security, segmentation, and Zero Trust Architecture in cloudfirst environments.

Role Experience: Experience in a comparable role delivering cloud-centric network designs and automation.

Field Deployment Experience: Hands-on experience performing onsite installations and changes (e.g., switch/AP installs, Zscaler edge connectors, DX/VPN termination equipment, console access, structured cabling, op:cal modules, power redundancy checks).

Change Execution: Comfortable with planned maintenance windows, method-of-procedure (MoP) authoring, back-out plans, and stakeholder comms during cutovers.

Industry Awareness: Awareness of developments in the marketplace for manufacturing domain focus and potential impact on AZ.

Communication: Ability to explain complex concepts to varied audiences.
