Job summary

OpenTable seeks a Network Engineer to join the Network Operations team responsible for global connectivity. You will build and maintain automation tools to configure datacenters, cloud, and office networks, maintaining Ansible playbooks and using REST APIs for automation.

You will participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and help implement security across platforms, drawing on strong AWS, TCP/IP, and network engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to solve complex problems with simple and elegant solutions.
• Ability to handle several projects at a time.
• Ability to learn and gain new technical skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and experience working with other engineering teams.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS and Cloud Networking in hybrid network environments.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols such as EVPN-VXLAN, Ether-Channel, and Virtual chassis.
• Intermediate scripting with Python; configuration automation with Ansible or Puppet.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and AI platforms is a plus.
• Experience with multiple network OS (JunOS, PanOS, ArubaOS, IOS/NX-OS/ASA-OS).
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities
