Job summary

Assured is building automation-driven cloud infrastructure to support scalable insurance platforms. The Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design and scale core systems, automate environments with Terraform/Terragrunt, and advance AWS foundations like EKS, SQS, Aurora, and S3.

Collaborating with engineering and product teams, you will improve reliability, performance, and observability while embedding security by design and mentoring the team to raise the technical bar.

Qualifications

• Design and scale the core infrastructure that powers the Assured platform.
• Automate everything using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Advance AWS foundations, including EKS, SQS, Aurora, and S3.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to improve reliability, performance, and observability.
• Embed security by design by implementing best practices, strengthening defenses, and evolving data protection.
• Build tools and systems to streamline developer workflows and accelerate product delivery.
• Lead and mentor by guiding architectural decisions and raising the technical bar.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale the core infrastructure that powers the Assured platform, supporting growth and new product lines.
• Automate everything using Terraform and Terragrunt to create reliable environments.
• Improve performance, reliability, and observability across stack layers with engineering and product teams.
• Embed security by design and continuously evolve data and system protections.
• Develop tooling that reduces friction and speeds up product delivery for the organization.
