Job summary

Assured is modernizing insurance by building scalable, secure cloud infrastructure for a SaaS platform. We are seeking a Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, automate, and enhance our distributed systems.

You will work with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes to scale and improve platform reliability, security, and developer experience, while mentoring engineers and leading critical infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

Design, build, and scale infrastructure from early stages to maturity.
Automate provisioning and management with Terraform and Terragrunt.
Experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes in a scaling environment.
Mentor and lead engineers; improve reliability and security.

Responsibilities

Design and build infrastructure and tooling to support the Assured platform.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and management with Terraform and Terragrunt to ensure consistency, repeatability, and reliability across environments.
Evolve platform foundations across AWS services (EKS, SQS, Aurora, S3).
Partner with product and engineering teams to improve performance and reliability across services.
Strengthen security posture and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Improve developer experience and deliver value faster.
Lead and mentor engineers across the company.
