Job summary

Quince in Palo Alto is seeking a Staff Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to own the long‑term infrastructure vision, architecture standards, and the strategic roadmap for our cloud platform engineering. You will solve complex challenges, mentor senior engineers, and influence cross‑functional engineering practices to support rapid growth.

You will lead multi‑region AWS solutions, design scalable systems, and drive reliability, security, and observability while partnering with product,

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Infrastructure, DevOps, Platform, or SRE with leadership.
Deep AWS architecture knowledge including multi-account setups, networks, cost governance.
Expertise with Kubernetes at scale, service meshes, and IaC tooling (Terraform/Pulumi/CF).
Strong CI/CD and GitOps using ArgoCD, Flux, or GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

Define long-term infrastructure architecture roadmap.
Architect multi-region AWS cloud solutions for high traffic.
Build enterprise-grade developer platforms and self-service tooling.
Establish standards for availability, disaster recovery, failover, and incident management.
Define security and observability frameworks.
Coach and elevate engineers in best practices.
Collaborate with leadership, product managers, and security to resolve bottlenecks.
