Ladders is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure to design, build, and operate cloud-native infrastructure at scale. This remote US-based role partners with cross-functional teams to simplify complexity, improve reliability, and drive performance across the platform.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with public clouds and container tech, plus strong debugging and communication skills to support a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience with a BS/MS, or 2+ years with a PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record developing and operating large-scale technical projects.
• Expertise with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their IaaS offerings.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and solid production debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
• Full-cycle developer mentality with experience in high-scale, distributed systems.
