Job summary

The Laboratory of Allergic Diseases (LAD) at NIH's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in Bethesda, MD, seeks a Staff Clinician to provide direct clinical care to patients enrolled in LAD clinical protocols at the NIH Clinical Center and outpatient clinics.

The Staff Clinician will help develop, implement, and manage clinical research protocols on allergic diseases, mentor clinical staff, and participate in the Allergy and Immunology Consultation Service and Fellowship training.

Qualifications

• ABAI board certification required.
• Permanent, full, unrestricted medical license in the US.
• Experience conducting clinical research and oral food challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to patients in LAD protocols at NIH Clinical Center and clinics.
• Develop, implement, and manage clinical research protocols for allergy diseases.
• Mentor fellows, nurses, and students to ensure proper protocol conduct.
• Participate in the NIH Allergy and Immunology Consultation Service and Fellowship training.
