IonQ, Inc. seeks a Staff Client Systems Engineer to own and optimize our global endpoint ecosystem across Mac, Windows, and Ubuntu.

You will design Gold OS Images and zero‑touch provisioning workflows, acting as a technical bridge between IT and HR while ensuring secure onboarding and provisioning. Lead automated Workday‑Okta lifecycles and lifecycle forms, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with the provisioning team to scale our enterprise infrastructure.

Formación

• Experience: 6+ years in Client Systems Engineering, Endpoint Architecture, or IT Infrastructure Automation.
• Workday-driven identity provisioning within Okta; attribute mapping and workflows.
• Mastery across Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu Linux at enterprise scale.
• Autopilot and ABM for zero-touch provisioning.
• Configuration management tools: Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
• Automation form building and dynamic service catalogs for stakeholders.
• Scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python for API integrations.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise OS images for macOS, Windows, and Ubuntu.
• Architect zero-touch provisioning workflows using Autopilot and ABM.
• Manage UEM/MDM (Jamf, Intune, Kandji) for secure provisioning and imaging.
• Lead Workday ⇄ Okta lifecycle automation and workflows.
• Develop automated intake forms and workflows for hiring managers.
• Mentor junior admins and provide tier-3 escalation support.
