Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to lead design efforts for site development projects in a hybrid work environment. You will contribute to grading, stormwater, erosion control, and pavement design while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.

The role emphasizes hands-on project design, schedule and budget support, and potential involvement in business development. A Bachelor's in Engineering and a PE license (or active pursuit) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• PE license or active pursuit of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Design projects from concept to design completion per client needs.
• Assist in maintaining project schedules and budgets with the Engineering Manager.
• Interface with clients or sub-consultants under the Engineering Manager’s direction.
• Support business development with technical approaches, scopes of work, and client presentations.
