Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead portions of complex site development projects in a hybrid work setting. You will design from concept through design completion, coordinate with internal teams, and engage clients to define scope and deliverables.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and a PE license (or active licensure pursuit), with 5+ years of related experience. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or active pursuit of licensure is preferred.
• Thorough understanding of civil site development (Site Plans, Permitting, Grading, Storm Water) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design projects from concept through design completion to meet client needs.
• Assist Engineering Manager with schedules and budgets.
• Interface with clients or sub-consultants under supervision.
• Support business development through technical proposals and presentations.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and project team for effective communication.
