Job summary
Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in Orlando, FL seeks a Staff Civil Engineer to support planning, design and permitting of civil, land development and infrastructure projects. You will work on mixed‑use, residential, educational and federal developments, gaining hands‑on site/civil design experience.
Qualifications include a Civil Engineering degree, 0–2 years of experience, EIT/FE status, and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
- Entry to 2 years of experience.
- EIT Certification or FE exam registration preferred.
- Experience in site/civil design including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and in a team; willingness to work Monday–Friday with occasional evenings/weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil, land development and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, plans, specifications, schedules, cost estimates; use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related software.
