Job summary

Water & Environmental Technologies (WET) is seeking an entry-level Staff Civil Engineer to join its Engineering Services team in Montana. The role offers design, analysis, and construction support across sanitary sewer, stormwater, water distribution, and road projects, working with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree (ABET) and is pursuing EI/PE licensure, with strong communication and a willingness to travel to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Ability to obtain EI certification or PE license within one year.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Sanitary Sewer collection system design.
• Stormwater treatment and storage.
• Water system pumping facilities and distribution design.
• Design of roads, parking lots, subdivisions, and developments.
• Utilize design software to apply engineering standards of design.
• Prepare construction plans and specifications.
• Construction administration tasks: bidding, inspection, and documentation.
